Lisa Calleja, MA, MBA

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern #IMH24204

My mission is to assist clients to feel fully empowered, live in alignment with their value system, and embrace life on life’s terms while operating from their authentic selves. I work with both individuals and couples and am adept at helping people overcome obstacles that have prevented them from obtaining their goals. My areas of specialization include building better communication skills, defining and implementing boundaries, anger management techniques, emotion regulation skills, and confronting patterns of behavior that prevent growth.

It is an honor and a privilege to hear a client's vulnerability. No matter the situation you seek help with, my goal is to provide a space where you will feel truly seen and know you are not alone. The willingness to engage in a process of healing is a courageous and worthwhile endeavor.

I completed my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Central Florida in spring 2023. I also possess a Master of Business Administration and my prior career includes leadership positions within corporate and nonprofit entities. I am a member of the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida (MHCCF), the Central Florida Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (CFAMFT), and the American Counseling Association (ACA).
